Agreement

These terms govern your use of Mantis Safety ("Mantis," "we," "us"), including the dashboard, the daily texted huddle links, and the no-login /huddle/[token] signing page. By creating an account or signing a huddle, you agree to these terms.

What Mantis is

Mantis is a tool for scheduling, delivering, and recording daily safety huddles for a construction crew: it texts a link to your safety lead, presents a briefing and risk checklist, collects signatures from whoever's present, and stores a locked PDF record once the huddle is complete.

Mantis is a record-keeping and communication tool. It doesn't evaluate your job site, and using it doesn't by itself guarantee compliance with OSHA or any other regulation. You're responsible for the actual safety practices on your site — Mantis just helps you run and document the huddle reliably.

Opening a huddle link also requests the device's location in the background, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Mantis

Mantis is for business use by construction companies and their crews. You must be authorized to act on behalf of your company to create an account, and you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including your safety lead's phone number.

Your account and huddle records

You're responsible for anything that happens under your account. Once a huddle is signed and completed, its content and signatures lock and can't be edited — this is intentional, so the record stays trustworthy. If something needs correcting after the fact, contact us; corrections are tracked as an addition to the record, not an edit of it.

Open beta and fees

Mantis is currently free to use during open beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we'll give existing accounts advance notice before any charge, and use won't automatically convert to a paid plan without your agreement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Mantis for anything unlawful or to misrepresent who signed a huddle
• Attempt to access another company's data or huddle records
• Interfere with or attempt to bypass the huddle-link access controls
• Resell or provide Mantis to third parties without our agreement

Ownership

You own the huddle records, checklist answers, and signatures your company generates. The safety-topic content library, the product, and the Mantis name and branding belong to us.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Mantis is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't warrant that using it satisfies any specific legal or regulatory obligation your company has. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to Mantis is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Mantis and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse of the service. Completed huddle records are retained after termination as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Mantis evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and notify account holders by email.
